Dear Acoustic Harvest Friends & Supporters,
We have some very exciting news for you all! Due to new plans at the St. Nicholas Anglican Church, we must move our monthly concert series to a new venue. Thank you St. Nicholas for giving us a home for the past twelve years. We are now thrilled to be so enthusiastically invited to become part of the St Paul's United Church community next Fall. We researched and explored over many months and finally narrowed down the prospects to two venues, the Beach United Church, which we will use for our TWO Sept. concerts and St. Paul's United Church (SPUC) for the remainder of our season. We felt strongly about honouring founder Rick Fielding's vision for this east end of Toronto, so we decided to stay within relative proximity of our current location. We look forward to being a vital part of SPUC's vibrant community at 200 McIntosh St., just a 3 minute drive further east and a block north of Kingston Rd. and Sandown Ave (with bus stop on the corner). Plenty of free parking in the two lots on either side of the church and on all the side streets.
Watch for more details, updates and news in a periodic newsletter, on our website and on our Facebook page. We hope you'll come out and support the wonderful artists that we have lined up for your listening pleasure in the coming season. Tell your families and friends and please sign up for our monthly concert announcements.
Our first concert in our 22nd season will be at the Beach United Church, on Sept 5th featuring Black Umfolosi and on Sept. 22nd we present A Cabaret Evening with John Sheard (Vinyl Cafe) & Mary Kelly.
**Please note that these September concerts will be held at the Great Hall in The Beach United Church, 140 Wineva Ave. at Queen St. E. There is a streetcar stop there and otherwise, parking on the streets or in municipal lots on Lee Ave and on Hammersmith.
Warmly,
Lillian
